Hazrat Shah Ali Mohila College was established at the heart of Mirpur in the district of Dhaka in 1991. It was named after Hazrat Shah Ali Bagdadi (R), a great religious saint who came from Bagdad and spread Islam in the greater Mirpur area. It is a non-government college, including MPO. Its land area is 1.67 acore. It is surrounded by a boundary wall and three storied market. It has a playing field filled with natural scenes and sights. There is no pond in the college premises. The college has one four storied building with 40 rooms and another eight storied building with 24 rooms. Its open space is about 1.02 acore. The mission and vision of the college is to make the learners practically skilled and fit for job market and entrepreneurship as well as global citizens by providing them with quality education which is the demand of the modern competitive
